My team, Ashley and Grace, had the privilege of meeting up with author, historian, and Mokena expert, Matt Galik to discuss much of District 37’s important history. A native to the area, Matt has authored several books that discuss the rich history of the southwest suburbs, including “Images of America: Mokena” and “The 1926 Orland Park Murder Mystery.” Ashley and Grace had a wonderful time hearing about some lesser-known aspects of the 37th District over great food at Zap!
