On July 24th, my team joined me at the 31st Biennial Conference of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police. As a member of the IL FOP for almost 20 years, I was honored to speak about the importance of supporting our law enforcement and what I can do to help in my district and in Springfield.
I got to catch up with many friends, including President Southwood & John Cantanzara Jr–great to see you guys! There were almost 700 law enforcement officials in attendance, representing the almost 34,000 FOP members in Illinois. Thank you to all those who attended the conference and offered their insights as to how we can best defend the men and women who defend us every day. By uniting over our shared experiences and passion for justice, we can continue to drive positive change for our officers and those they serve.
