Families across Illinois are demanding safer communities, stronger accountability, and support for victims. Instead, Illinois Democrats are moving legislation that prioritizes convicted criminals behind bars.

As a police officer, I believe there should be clear consequences for serious crimes. Voting is one of the most important responsibilities we have as citizens. People who commit serious crimes and are actively serving time in prison have broken that social contract.
