This Valentine’s Day season, State Representative Patrick Sheehan is inviting the community to help brighten the day of local seniors with his “Valentines for Seniors” card drive. Running January 9 through February 9, the drive encourages residents of all ages to write heartfelt messages of love and kindness to area senior citizens.
“This Valentine’s Day, we can make a difference by bringing joy and encouragement to area seniors,” said Rep. Sheehan. “Our seniors deserve to know they’re remembered, valued, and appreciated for their contributions. These cards are a simple but meaningful way to show we care.”
Anyone can participate by creating a card and dropping it off at Rep. Sheehan’s district office, located at 15746 S. Bell Road in Homer Glen. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All cards must be received by February 9 so Rep. Sheehan can deliver them to local seniors living in assisted living and long-term care facilities on Valentine’s Day.
