SPRINGFIELD – State Representative Patrick Sheehan (R-Lockport) was selected to serve on seven House committees: Appropriations: Public Safety, Counties & Townships, Elementary & Secondary Education: Administration, Licensing & Charter Schools, Energy & Environment, Ethics & Elections, Restorative Justice, and Revenue & Finance.
“It’s an honor to serve the people of Illinois on these seven committees,” said Rep. Sheehan. “I look forward to bringing practical, common-sense solutions to fix the issues we are facing in our state.”
Representative Sheehan has two decades of experience as a police officer and has served as a Lockport Alderman and former Park Commissioner. He plans to bring those experiences to the table in these committees to make informed decisions for the people of Illinois.
